Puppa is not intended for people under 18.

Information map

Information we may process

  • Account and profile information such as display name, age or birth information, profile details, identifiers, login credentials, and verification status.
  • Content and communications you choose to provide, including messages, photos, reports, feedback, and optional live communication metadata.
  • Device and technical information such as device model, operating system, app version, IP address, language, time zone, network status, diagnostics, and security events.
  • Usage information such as feature interactions, session timing, preferences, safety actions, and transaction history.
  • Purchase records supplied by Google Play or payment processors, such as product, transaction status, and receipt identifiers. We do not receive full payment-card details from Google Play.

Sources

How information reaches us

Information may come directly from you, from app and device activity, from other users who report an interaction, and from service providers such as hosting, security, analytics, moderation, customer support, and Google Play.

Purpose

Why information is used

  • Create, authenticate, maintain, and secure accounts.
  • Deliver profiles, messaging, optional live communication, translation, purchases, and support where those features are available.
  • Detect spam, fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, technical failures, and policy violations.
  • Review reports, enforce rules, respond to legal requests, and protect users and the service.
  • Measure reliability and improve product performance without making decisions that unlawfully discriminate.

Controlled access

When information may be shared

Information may be shared with vetted processors that support hosting, storage, delivery, security, analytics, moderation, support, and payments; with another user when you intentionally communicate or publish profile information; or with authorities and safety organizations when legally required or reasonably necessary to prevent serious harm.

Puppa does not sell personal information for money. Any advertising-related practice must match the app’s actual SDK configuration, consent flow, and Play Console declarations before publication.

Retention

How long information is kept

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here. Retention may depend on account status, safety needs, transaction disputes, fraud prevention, backup cycles, and legal obligations. When no longer required, information is deleted or de-identified.

Safeguards

How information is protected

Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used, including access controls, transport encryption where appropriate, monitoring, restricted staff access, and incident response. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Control

Your choices and rights

Depending on location, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of eligible information. Users can also manage permissions in device settings, adjust in-app controls, report concerns, block accounts, or stop using Puppa.

Deletion

Account and data deletion

Deleting an account means permanent account deletion rather than temporary deactivation. Associated user data is deleted or de-identified, except limited records retained for security, fraud prevention, payment disputes, legal claims, or regulatory duties. The in-app deletion path and external request channel must both be confirmed in the release build before Play submission.

Location

International processing

Service providers may process information in countries other than the user’s own. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal safeguards should be used for cross-border transfers.
